Begin, renew or fine-tune your piano skills from a working pianist – International Steinway Artist, Jim McDonough. With a degree in piano performance and music education, as well as two decades of practical performance and recording experience, Jim will tailor your private instruction to suit your intentions and your skill level. Sessions take place in Jim's Cedar Rapids, Iowa studio with side-by-side grand pianos, allowing him to demonstrate as needed. Through his real-world approach, students learn proper technique, music theory and fundamentals, while progressing and achieving goals in a fun and satisfying way. Adult students are encouraged.
